Hello All:  I would like to introduce myself and our new club.  We are the Ronin Wheelers of Rhode Island (RWORI.com) - a dynamite new club that recently burst into the Jeep club scene since January of this year.  We are comprised of many experienced wheelers and a couple of newbies and our members are from MA, CT and RI.  We started with 5 members in January and now are up to 30.  We do not have any hierarchy - we are all equals (Ronin mean "leaderless Samurai") in this club and this seems to be working out exceptionally well.  We have hit the pavement running and some items already under our belt are: we have a sponsor, we recently participated in a local trail clean up, we have had numerous tech days (ranging from tuning all the member's CB radios with a borrowed SWR meter to installing a 3 1/2" lift kit), we participated in the recent Topless Day in Lancaster, MA, and have a sister club of the same name located in the great state of Colorado.  Most importantly, we observe the tread lightly principles and since we have new members joining, are researching more websites such as Tread Lightly and Blue Ribbon Coalition to be better informed on this subject.  We are currently planning some charity and fund raising events.  We were fortunate enough to have acquired private land for our use and work together cutting trails on this land.  Anyway, don't want to bore you with any more details on us but this is about it in a nutshell.  Thank you for listening!

I remember the Shepard w/ the muzzle at GTD, was he born with that thing? Wink

Ronin already has a booth reserved for the Rally, COOL! Look forward to meeting the club.

Hi - the website is incorrect on the banner (LOL) should be RWORI.com.  The printer messed it up at the last second.  Getting it fixed for the Rally - looking forward to meeting everyone!
