At the entrance of of the Rally can someone set up a camera on a tripod and take a pic of EVERY Jeep that enters, from the same camera/place...

That would give GAJR a count and PIC of EVERY jeep that enters...

Again... Just an Idea!!!

Now that would be different.  Things at the gate are extremely busy in the morning and I don't know if we could spare a person to do that.  Plus, we do the count with the goodies bags - they are numbered and only given to drivers.

Take that one step further and offer a picture to people for a certain donation amount...

I was thinking something like that at the rock garden and the posting them on onething like snapfish where they could order pics of their Jeep and see if we could get a cut for the rally, there are some photography sites that make a profit.

I love this idea and think you could make it happen w/out any additional club volunteers. We had a great photographer at Go Topless Day (here are a few of his photos

I bet he'd do it for a nominal fee and if you had the photos taken before the Jeeps got to the gate, with a GAJR banner behind them, with the date, etc. people would want them. The photographer loads them up to the site where people can buy them, and GAJR gets a cut of the sales. Maybe he'd even be able to print them out there.

Even if it wasn't a money maker, if it did not require any additional work by any of the volunteers (other than to hang a banner in a good spot) it would be just one more fabulous activity/event the attendees get to participate in.  How many people have a really good photo of themselves in their Jeep? I think if it was a great photographer, it would be just one more thing people love about the GAJR.
