Only a couple days left for potential sponsors/vendors to sign up to be part of the 2009 program. If you've been holding off till the last minute please HURRY!!! A vendor can still be part of GAJR if they miss the 9/1 deadline but may not make it into the official program. IF your sending in the application soon please e-mail me ASAP and let me know it's on it's way.
Thanks!

Dear Potential Sponsor:
The Great American Jeep Rally Organization and our many volunteers are proud to present the 8th Annual
Great American Jeep Rally (“GAJR”). This year’s GAJR will take place on Sunday, September 27th, 2009 at
the Four Town Fairgrounds in Somers, Connecticut.
Jeep enthusiasts have been traveling from all over the Northeast to show their appreciation for Jeeps of all kinds
– military, antique, new and old, stock to heavily modified. We offer multiple raffles, trophy awards for street,
beater, military, antique, off-road, and more. In addition, attendees may test their Jeep’s articulation on one of
the RTI Ramps and play in the Rock Garden; just to name a few of the events the entire family will enjoy
throughout the day. Vendors of food and Jeep accessories, local organized off-road club booths, and a Tread
Lightly!® informational booth will also be readily available.
The mission of GAJR is to raise money for charity and continue our efforts to support the Northeast Association
of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs (“NEA4WDC”). We’ve gone from 200 Jeeps and 400 spectators in 2001 to over 660
Jeeps and two thousand spectators in 2008 raising over $30,000 for charity. Due to the increasing popularity of
GAJR, the United 4 Wheel Drive Association sent a representative from Texas in 2003. The well-known author
of the “Jeep Bible”, Moses Ludel, attended in 2004. Also, the 2005 GAJR was featured in Low-Range
Magazine’s December issue of that year. Just this past fall, we were featured in JPFreek Adventure magazine.
We intend to make The Great American Jeep Rally better every year! To do just that in 2009, we are pleased to
announce our special guest: Ian Johnson from Spike TV's Extreme 4x4! We will also be including a special raffle
with the opportunity to off-road with Ian on Monday, September 28th, 2009.
Part of what makes this event so unique are the opportunities offered to businesses servicing the 4x4
community, allowing us all to:
• Participate in the largest event of this type in New England.
• Celebrate and honor the history and significance of the Jeep vehicle.
• Support the ongoing battle to keep public lands clean and open for off-highway recreation.
• Reach a targeted audience numbering in the tens of thousands through bulletin board advertising.
We will be donating all proceeds of the 2009 Rally to Educational Resources for Children, Inc. in Enfield, CT, the
Ellington Volunteer Fire Department in Ellington, CT, and the Northeast Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs.
The Ellington Volunteer Fire Department incorporates donations made to the department into a variety of
programs including public education, fire prevention, and purchasing miscellaneous equipment and tools.
Donations come from a variety of sources including individuals, corporations, and federal and state grant
programs. Over the past several years the Ellington Volunteer Fire Department has purchased public fire safety
educational materials, a live burn trailer, a electric fire truck robot, and children's coloring books and school
supplies.

Educational Resources for Children, Inc. teams with kids, communities, schools, and families to grow resilient
kids. Through innovative community collaborations, they help kids learn, reach their goals, and contribute to
their communities.
The NEA4WDC was established in 2001 and currently has twenty-seven member clubs with a combined
membership of over 4,000. Its mission is to protect and promote environmentally responsible Off-Highway
Vehicle recreation, while maintaining a harmonious relationship between OHV enthusiasts and landowners.
Also, they strive to support and educate Local, State and National agencies in the preservation of OHV
recreation.
Since we hope to donate maximum proceeds to these organizations, we need to cover the few expenses
incurred from staging such a massive event while having sufficient remaining revenue to help our communities.
We hope that we can depend on you for financial support.
In exchange for your generosity, we will include your business’ name and logo as per the sponsorship grid
below. We look forward to collaborating with you on this extraordinary celebration of Jeepers making a
difference. We know that with your support and participation this will be one of the most spectacular days out at
the Four Town Fairgrounds in 2008.
Thank you for your time.
Very truly yours,
Mark Fisher
