I have a dana 300 Transfer case out of my 85 CJ-7.  It works perfect.  It's a long story as to why it was swapped.  I'd like to get $250 for it but make me a reasonable offer and we'll see.

Maybe a stupid question, what is the gearing and what else will it go into?

Not a stupid question 'cause I don't know the answer.  I think it will fit any CJ-from 1982-1986???  Sorry I'm not sure but the one I put in was out of a 1982 CJ-7 and it fit like a glove.
