Just wanted to know everybody,s input on the rc rock garden I thought they did a great job with all the kids and newcomers hope they return for years to come. Wink

Where was the RC Magazine people?

The rock pile looked great! unfortunately I never got to that area to watch.

they are doing a spread in the mag about the rally, i told them i wanted a copy.

I was able to check out the RC area with my kids.  I thought the RC club did a nice job.  They had some loaner trucks that kids could play with and they put on some nice demonstrations of just how intricate those RC trucks can be.   I think they could have used a bigger rock area though, that pile was pretty small.  After looking in some of the magazines they had, with pictures of real RC courses, the area at the rally was pretty small.  My kids really liked it and I thought it was pretty neat too.  I hope they come back next year.

IMO, they will be invited! I think their pile will grow next year. This year we were under the impression they were setting it up. We ended up doing it last minute... Eleventh hour!
Last minute = mediocre outcome.  Undecided
