2011 GAJR date

OK, we've defiantly covered the date thing for 2010, why so late, why the same weekend as Maine's Jeep jambo, why Why WHY!
Long story short, there are many factors that need to be looked at like Fairgrounds availability, other events like Fall Crawl, DWE's truck show, Vermonster, JJ, holidays, etc...
So, A little help for 2011 will be appreciated. Lets start with 2011's schedule.
Please post up any dates of other events that you know of in the north east, including NY.

GO TOPLESS DAY is May 14, 2011
Labor Day: 9/5/2011
Fall Vermonster: 9/24/2011 - 9/25/2011
Jeep Jamboree: Sept 29 - Oct 1

Etc etc etc...

I don't have much to add date wise but IMHO you just need to pick any date ( September 2011 for sure or earlier) and stick with it, somewhere there will always be  conflicting event(s) and let the cards fall where they may be.

This year there are 3 events I want to attend in New England for just this Sunday Oct 3 and I'm still not sure where I'll be.

Your not going to make everyone happy.

The second week in October is usually the 4X4 hill climb in Monson.

It had always been the 3rd Sunday in Sept, that was changed do to the Fairgrounds pushing their annual fair back a week cause labor day was "late"
So thats how we ended up changing it.

The Maine Jamboree is exactly 1 week after the NY Catskills Jamboree.  You already have the Maine 2011 in your first post.

I don't care what the date.  I find it a good event for the hole family.  I enjoy volunteering, it's a really good group of jeepers.  Post it and I'll spread the word and be there to assist in any way I can.
