Hi All, the Great American Jeep Rally needs your help!

We need volunteers to help out around the venue. This ranges from helping people park to helping make sure people are signed in and safe. We will be doing shifts again this year so you will be able to walk around and take part in the Rally.

Please send me an email meg @ jeeprally.org (no spaces) with your name and any skills you can add to the rally (skills not needed however) what youd like to do at the rally (we will try our best to accommodate that request) and what time youd like to help. If you have volunteered before I would like to know what you did before and what you would like to do.  I will also need to know your t-shirt size.  Also you dont have to own a Jeep to help.

Thank you and hope to hear from you soon!

I am sure you have seen the coverage of CRAWL's Reader's Ride South and the ride they do during Easter Jeep Safari well now they are coming to the North!!

The Great American Jeep Rally and JonFund have worked together along with Yukon Gear & Axle and Mitchell Differential to get John and Ian from CRAWL magazine to come north.

Ryan Whiteaker had is Jeep stolen from Quincy MA last night. It has a black top and full doors painted to match. Ryan is a great guy that use to work with EVB in CT. EVB and Ryan have been a big help to the Rally in the past and this couldn't have happen to a better guy. Please keep a look out.

Same location as last year for the local event, The Grand View Inn & Resort.

Same weekend of the year, the week after Mother's Day.  With no disrespect to Mother Nature, I am told there will be nice weather.  May 19th, 2012.

We'll have trail rides for any Jeep vehicle with low range and 4 wheel drive, from completely scenic to most difficult.

We are sorry to announce that the 2011 Great American Jeep Rally, that was to take place on September 25th in Somers CT, has been canceled. Due to extremely high event setup costs, we are forced to cancel the Rally. We would like to thank all of the volunteers and organizers for all the help you have given. Also thank you to all of our sponsors and vendors for your support, hopefully we will be back next year.

A candid picture...

A pic of my external oil tank.

If I was going to all the trouble of building a poseur jeep, I would pay attention to details like polishing the measurements off the tank.  Just sayin'...
