Again last year there were plenty of fantastic rigs - about 400 Jeeps! Twice as many as the year before. It's apparent that a lot of time, effort and money was expended on these Jeeps. Archie even waxed his First Place winning 'Beater' for the show, (note the buffer swirl marks in the dents, er... beauty marks pictured below.)

The Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs, NEA4WD, was well represented with these member clubs participating: Baystate Jeepers Inc, Code 3 Off-Road Inc, Deep Woods Extreme Inc, New England 4 Wheelers Inc, and NEWJO. Most Off-road enthusiasts in the Northeast have come to recognize that the NEA4WD is making tremendous strides in realizing their mission statement. Has your club become a member club yet?

I know a lot of other clubs were present besides those mentioned but I don't have a list and I wouldn't want to miss anyone. The NEA4WD clubs have a lot of new people interested in joining because of this event as their information booths were busy all day. Many people didn't know who to contact to join nor did they know of all the advantages and benefits of belonging to a 4WD club. Now they do!

A huge thanks goes out Sharon Perron who out did her last year's performance in organizing the event and to all the volunteers that kept the ramp and the teeter-totter moving smoothly all day, (even if you didn't like your ramp score!)
